Letter to members

Dear Members,

I hope this note finds you all well and eager to return to our great club.
During the lockdown, life has still been going on at the club as per usual, without our golfers of course. There are still many duties that must be done to keep the club running. These jobs and more are being undertaken each and every day to make your return to the club the best it can be.

Jeff Dalton has left the employ of the club, and we take this opportunity to thank him for all he did, and we wish him all the best for the future. We have a new and enthusiastic Super with us now and his name is Shaun Lehane. Shaun has hit the ground running and is doing a wonderful job. Many improvements to the course and surrounds have been done and will continue to be done at a rapid pace. Drainage is in and around the starters hut, drainage has been found behind the 9th green to remove that pooling from there and many cosmetic improvements have been made. We will leave the rest as a surprise for when we return.

The last few months have been very tough on each and every one of us in different ways but rest assured that your great club is being very well looked after and it is looking better each and every day. We are just waiting for the time that we can play again.
Stay safe everyone and we look forward to your return very soon.

Eastern Sward Executive Committee.
